Every Day

"Even in a perfect world, where everything was equal I would still own the film rights and be working on the sequel."

Best listened to live, or from a vinyl recording on a decent amp and speaker set. Slappin' that bass, he is.

  2. Not an EC fan? Jack does like the old timey and bubblegum.

How about a little John Entwistle?

  4. Wow. That's a great clip.

When I was a wee lad, I would ask my brother to put 'A Quick One' on the platter for me. It was a monaural, Dual I think, in a pretty mahogany cabinet.

He'd make sure that I was sitting an appropriate distance from the thing so as not to damage my hearing, extracting a promise from me not to get too close. The minute he left the room I'd put my head up against the front of it to feel the vibrations in my little noggin. Happy Jack is on that album as well.

  6. 'White City'! Pete is one of my favorite 20th century poets. My favorite tune form that album is this one:

Add a whammy bar and I'm hooked.
