Above the Clouds


Woke the other morning with sights sounds and smells of a bygone era fresh in my senses.  As if I'd just been. I saw it all, like it was back when. Halcion days.

I grew up in a resort community. Summertime anyways.  Populated mostly with folks from a nearby mill town.  Little cottages along the shores of a man made lake.  

These days there aren't any millers or their kids playing there so much.  The mills are all gone. Most of the little cottages, too. Now its whatever the hell you call them these days.  Rich folks, giant assed houses.
